- Our furniture rustic appeal comes from its wood. We use proven cutting and polishing techniques to help retain minor imperfections like knots, disrupted grain patterns, dents, or even small cracks. These don’t compromise a benches physical integrity so you don’t need to worry about it falling apart.
- A well-maintained bench will last for decades without losing its appeal. Make sure you wipe it down with a dry cloth and clean up spills immediately. All benches come with a beautiful finish that brings out their natural grain pattern.
- This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
- As the surface has a natural wax finish great care should be taken to avoid any liquids being spilt onto the surface as this may mark the furniture. Any spills should be wiped away immediately using a dry cloth and the surface re-waxed as required.
- Always use protective coasters or mats. Do not place cups, glasses or hot items directly onto the surface as this can cause permanent damage.
- Avoid exposing the furniture to excessive heat or direct sunlight as this can cause cracking and discoloration of the timber.
- Do not use silicone based aerosol polish as this will remove the natural wax. Never use a damp cloth as this may also remove part of the wax coating.
- For everyday care, wipe with a dry cloth or duster. To achieve a premium finish, regularly apply a natural beeswax polish, using a dry cloth and buff up ensuring any excess was is removed.
- Small cracks and fissures may develop with changes in humidity and temperature. This is a natural, uncontrollable characteristic of solid wood furniture
It's a Beautiful table. Many compliments. It is kinda like a hand scraped wood, so it's not exactly level. Dishes do not sit flat, but rock slightly. Causes no problems though. If you see looking for a rustic handmade table this is it! The colors are natural, yellow and a teal shade.
I purchased this to be used as a home office desk & I absolutely love it. It's sturdy, heavy-duty (& heavy!) and beautiful. Everyone that sees it compliments it. I will say if I had to do it over again I would have upgraded the shipping option so the carrier would bring it inside, unpack it & carry off the packing materials. It would have been a small price to pay. I'm single and live alone & this was a heck of a job. It's packed very well & is equally challenging to unpack. Miles of bubble wrap with all corners covered in stylophone padding & a very thick box to cut through. Once it's all out though, assembly is very simple. It probably took 30-40 minutes to unpack, 10 minutes (tops) to put together, & another 20 minutes to haul all the crap off. The one drawback is that the top isn't smooth. It's got grooves & waves & the whole thing is just uneven. (& the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5) I'm sure it adds to the unique nature of the table
This table is great! I love that it's solid wood -- not MDF or veneer! It's easy to put together, but it's VERY HEAVY. The top is a bit "wavy" to give it that rustic look, but I think each table is different.
Fell in love with this table and knew it was perfect. The table looks just like the picture so I am very happy with the purchase. The seller ships it within days of the order so the arrival time is quick! The people that have seen the table in our house love it. It is a fantastic addition to our home
Wonderful artsy table, the colors are lively but not too bright, it's super sturdy and the legs are 2.5 to 3 inches thick which is great for the longevity to the piece. I'm happy with the size...it's large but not too overpowering. The assembly was straight forward and the wrench that was needed was included; which was very thoughtful!
