As an interior designer and artist, I will routinely tweak items to suit my taste and decorating needs. I absolutely loved this table and it was perfect for their Coastal contemporary living room. I chose to spray paint the legs a champagne gold before I assembled it, to give it more of a contemporary look for that room. Turned out great, but the table is absolutely beautiful, as is, as well.
